Speed and Start Your Engines!: A new trait and keyword ability that simulate the acceleration of a race. Players can increase their speed by dealing damage to opponents, unlocking powerful effects as they reach higher speeds

Exhaust: An ability that allows players to tap a permanent for a significant one-time effect, representing pushing their resources to the limit.

Crew and Saddle: Returning mechanics that emphasize the importance of vehicles and mounts in the race. "Crew" allows creatures to pilot vehicles, while "Saddle" enables creatures to ride other creatures, adding strategic depth to gameplay.

Cycling: A returning mechanic that allows players to discard cards to draw new ones, ensuring flexibility and adaptability during the race.
